SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA women’s golf team will head west this week for the BYU Entrada Classic. The two-day tournament begins on Monday Entrada at Snow Hills Country Club (6,154 yards/par 72) in St. George, Utah. The Roadruners have finished in the top 10 at all three tournaments this spring and notched top-five finishes in their last two outings.

Format: Two-day event with shotgun start for Mondays's first two rounds and tee times for Monday’s final 18 holes

Taylor Newlin (Fr. – Frisco, Texas)
· Finished tied for fourth in her first collegiate tournament, the Chip-N Club Invitational, Sept. 13-14
· Fourth on the team with a 75.90 stroke average
· Shot a 69 at the Mercedes-Benz Women's Championship, Oct. 8-10
· Finished in the top 15 three times this season
Paola Valerio (So. – Mexico City, Mexico)
· Set school records with a 66 and 54-hole score of 212 to finish fifth at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships, Oct. 8-10.
· Two-time Southland Conference Golfer of the Month (October 2010/February 2011)
· Leads the team with a 74.10 stroke average
· Finished in the top-10 four times this year and tied for second at the Islander Classic, Feb. 28-March 1
