SAN ANTONIO — UTSA head women's golf coach Summer Batiste on Wednesday announced that the program has signed Morgan Ellison to a National Letter of Intent. The Peachtree City, Ga., native will join the Roadrunners beginning with the 2021-22 season.
"We are excited to sign Morgan Ellison and can't wait for her to join the Roadrunner Family," said Batiste, a two-time Conference USA Coach of the Year. "Morgan is a proven winner and a strong student who has great character. She embodies all that we look for when recruiting future Roadrunners."

2019 Georgia 4A Player of the Year … two-time all-state selection … helped lead Woodward Academy to state and region championships in both 2018 and 2019 … has guided the War Eagles to 17 team titles in 18 tournaments during her prep career … 2019 Southeastern Junior Golf Tour Player of the Year … has won nine tournaments on the SJGT circuit in 2019-20, including the Callaway Gardens Junior Classic on Nov. 7-8 in Pine Mountain, Ga. … has posted four top-10 finishes on the American Junior Golf Association tour in 2020, including a tie for fourth place with a 75-71—146 at the 2020 Callaway Junior Classic … won the 2019 AJGA Preview at Chateau Elan … member of the National Honor Society and Gold Eagle Honor Roll at Woodward Academy.
