SAN ANTONIO — UTSA head coach Summer Batiste on Wednesday announced the program's 2021 schedule, which features the Roadrunners' annual home tournament, the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational, and three additional events in the state of Texas.
UTSA will tee off its fourth season under their two-time Conference USA Coach of the Year on Feb. 1-2 at the Trinity Forest Invitational, which will be hosted by SMU at Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas.
The Roadrunners then will make the short drive to Kyle for the Texas State Invitational on Feb. 8-9 at Plum Creek Golf Club before flying to Las Vegas for the Rebel Beach, hosted by UNLV on Feb. 15-16 at Spanish Trail Country Club.
UTSA will host the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational on March 9-10 at San Antonio Country Club. Now in its 12th year, it was renamed from The Alamo Invitational in 2016 in honor of the late Maryb S. Kauth. The Roadrunners' last team competition occurred on March 10-11, 2020, when they won the team title at their annual home tournament just before the remainder of the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Roadrunners will head back to the Metroplex on March 28-29 for The Bruzzy, which will be hosted by North Texas at Lantana Golf Club in Argyle.
UTSA then will travel to Fort Myers, Fla., for the C-USA Championship on April 19-21 at Verandah Club. The Roadrunners are the two-time defending league champions, having captured back-to-back crowns in 2018-19 before the 2020 event was canceled due to the pandemic.
The NCAA Regionals are slated for May 10-12 at four different sites across the country. The NCAA Championship will be contested on May 21-26 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
