SAN ANTONIO — Coming off the program's first NCAA postseason appearance, UTSA will tee off the 2021 fall season on Sunday-Tuesday, Sept. 12-14, at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate at Squire Creek Country Club (7,105 yards/par 72) in Choudrant, La.

The Roadrunners will line up against Abilene Christian, Central Arkansas, Chattanooga, Francis Marion, High Point, Houston, Lamar, Little Rock, Louisiana, host Louisiana Tech, LSU, Middle Tennessee, Rice, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Tennessee(individuals only), Troy, ULM, UT Arlington and WKU.

The field will play 18 holes each day with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday and Monday and 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

UTSA 14th-year head coach John Knauer welcomes back six veterans from last year's team that earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Kingston Springs Regional in Tennessee. The Roadrunners capped off arguably the most successful season in program history with a 10th-place showing in their maiden voyage into the NCAA postseason.

Headlining that list of returnees is second-team All-Conference USA performer Christian Fanfelle, who ranked second on the squad with a 73.31 stroke average and logged five top-25 finishes during the spring 2021 campaign.

Hunter Bott returns for his third year after ranking third among Roadrunners with a 74.05 average last season, while Michael Rome is back for his final run after registering a 74.67 average in 21 rounds last spring.

David Harrison played in one tournament in 2020-21 and posted a 2-over-par 218 for a 25th-place tie at the Louisiana Classics.

Reed Foster and Jack Wehman were part of the team last season but did not appear in any events, while freshmen Carson Gallaher and Patrick Kahanek will look to bolster the team's depth.
