SAN ANTONIO – Fresh off winning the H-E-B Tournament of Champions, the UTSA men's tennis program will return to the UTSA Tennis Center this weekend for a pair of matchups with ranked opponents.

This will be UTSA's first action since the squad was announced as the 67th-best tennis program in the country according to the ITA and its initial computerized rankings. The Roadrunners will be welcomed to the national rankings with matchups against the number 53 and 66 programs.

The 67th-ranked Roadrunners (5-4) will begin its weekend with a familiar foe, facing off with fellow Conference USA school Florida Atlantic (6-6) on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. UTSA will then turn its attention to Sunday where it will match up with the Wichita State Shockers (7-5) at 11 a.m.

Sophomore Tomás Pinho owns the best singles record through nine duals, as he's 5-3. The duo pair of Garrett Skelly and Jackson Ross is 5-1 to lead the doubles groups.

UTSA's doubles pair of Rodriguez and Alan Magadan remain in the top 20 of the ITA national rankings as the duo was recently announced as the 18th-best tandem in the country following the Feb. 21 update.
