SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA men’s golf team will travel to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, for The Clerico, which will be held Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 23-24, at Cedar Ridge Country Club (par 70/7,088 yards).

The Roadrunners will take a lineup of Jack Wehman, Brock Blais, Hunter Bott, David Harrison and Bryson Thurston to compete against Kansas City, Little Rock, Michigan, Missouri State, New Mexico State, Oral Roberts, Samford, South Alabama, Texas State, Troy and UTEP.

The field will play 36 holes on Monday and the final round is slated for Tuesday with tee times off both sides starting at 7:50 a.m. each day.

UTSA is coming off an eighth-place finish at The Carolina Cup earlier this month in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Hunter Bott finished in a tie for ninth place with a 3-over-par 219, while David Harrison carded a final-round 73 to jump into a tie for 14th place (74-74-73—221).

The Roadrunners placed sixth at The Clerico a year ago, which was shortened to 36 holes due. Bott tied for 13th with a 70-76—146, while Christian Fanfelle and Harrison finished 24th (75-74—149) and 30th (71-79—150), respectively.

Bott, a senior from Montgomery, Texas, leads UTSA this fall with a 72.67 stroke average to go along with a pair of top-25 finishes.

Harrison, a senior from Trophy Club, Texas, stands second on the team with a 73.22 scoring average and two top-30 showings.

Wehman, a junior out of Austin, owns a 74.67 average, while Blais, a freshman from Florida, is close behind with a 74.89 mark.
