SAN ANTONIO — UTSA head men’s golf coach Matt Wernecke announced on Wednesday that the program has signed David Martinez to a National Letter of Intent. The Houston native will join the Roadrunners beginning with the 2024-25 season.
“We are always looking to add players who check a lot of boxes and David does exactly that,” Wernecke said. “He is a top-100 player in his class and a team captain, and he brings in a ton of competitive experience. Our program got better today. We are looking forward to having David on campus next fall.”
