SAN ANTONIO — UTSA head women’s golf coach Summer Batiste has announced the program’s fall schedule, which features five tournaments in four different states.
The Roadrunners will open the eighth season under Batiste on Sept. 8-10 when they travel to Wisconsin for the Badger Invitational at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison. UTSA finished fourth at that event last year behind Camryn Carreon’s individual win.
UTSA then will head to Lubbock for the Red Raider Invitational, which is set for Sept. 24-25 at The Rawls Course before traveling to Iowa City, Iowa, for the Diane Thomason Invitational on Sept. 30-Oct. 1 at Finkbine Golf Club.
The Roadrunners will compete in the Dale McNamara Invitational, which will be hosted by Tulsa on Oct. 14-15 at Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. UTSA placed third at last year’s tournament behind Carreon’s second victory of the season and Morgan Ellison’s 15th-place showing.
UTSA will wrap up the fall slate on Oct. 20-21 at the Jim West Challenge, hosted by Texas State at Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos. Last year, the Roadrunners fired a 14-under-par 850 that included a program-record 15-under 273 in the final round.
The spring schedule will be unveiled at a later date.
