IRVING, Texas – On Wednesday, the American Athletic Conference officially unveiled the 2024-25 league schedule as UTSA is set to play an 18-game slate, including nine in the Convocation Center.
UTSA will open up conference play in Charlotte, North Carolina, kick-starting things on Sunday, Dec. 29, with a showdown against the 49ers. The ‘Runners will then head to The Convo to ring in the new year, facing the UAB on Wednesday, Jan. 1.
After a road tussle with Tulsa on Saturday, Jan. 4, UTSA will be back in the Alamo City, where they’ll meet Rice on Wednesday, Jan. 8 and Wichita State on Saturday, Jan. 11. The following Wednesday, the Roadrunners take a trip to Memphis, ahead of a contest with UAB in Birmingham on Saturday, Jan. 18. A home match follows against Tulsa on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
A week later, the squad will meet South Florida in Tampa, before returning to the Convo to take on Temple on Saturday, Feb. 1 and North Texas on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
The ‘Runners will trek to Wichita, Kansas, for a contest with Wichita State on Saturday, Feb. 8, ahead of games against East Carolina on Wednesday, Feb. 12, and Memphis on Saturday, Feb. 15, in the Convo.
As the regular season nears its close, UTSA will visit Rice on Saturday, Feb. 22, and Tulane on Tuesday, Feb. 25, before a Saturday, Mar. 1 matchup with Florida Atlantic that represents the final home contest of the season.
The campaign will conclude on Tuesday, Mar. 4, with the Roadrunners playing East Carolina in Greenville.
The American Championships will once again return to Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, with the event spanning Mar. 8-12.
The 2024-25 AAC tipoff times and TV matchups will be revealed at a later date.
Season tickets at the Convocation Center, including lower-level reserved ($129) and general admission upper-level seating for women’s basketball ($79), are on sale through the UTSA Ticket Office. To better support UTSA’s basketball student-athletes, the total price of women’s basketball reserved season tickets includes a $50 Roadrunner Athletic Fund (RAF) per-seat contribution. Per-seat contributions count towards RAF membership levels and benefits and increase each member's RAF Loyalty Points.
In addition, Roadrunner Athletic Fund members can purchase courtside seating for $400.
Fans can also purchase a combined men’s and women’s basketball season ticket for $210 by contacting the UTSA Ticket Office at 210-458-8872.
Students are admitted free by showing their UTSA ID for both sports.
