UTSA Homecoming game time, broadcast designation announced

IRVING, Texas — UTSA’s Homecoming Game against Florida Atlantic on Saturday, Oct. 19, will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and air on ESPN+, the league office announced on Monday.

The Roadrunners and Owls will meet for the fifth time in the American Athletic Conference contest at the Alamodome. UTSA scored a 36-10 road triumph last October for its first victory in the series, which is led by Florida Atlantic, 3-1. The Owls won the only previous matchup in San Antonio, 40-26, on Nov. 23, 2019.

Fans can purchase tickets online or by calling the UTSA Ticket Office at 210-458-UTSA (8872) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays.

In addition to Homecoming, the game versus Florida Atlantic also is UTSA’s Salute to Healthcare and is part of UTSA Family Weekend. A complete list of UTSA’s official Homecoming events can be found online at utsa.edu/homecoming.

UTSA Athletics also will be celebrating the 2024 Hall of Fame Class during Homecoming weekend. Derrick Gervin (men’s basketball), Monica Gibbs (women’s basketball), Michael Rockett (baseball), Starlite Williams (women’s basketball, track & field) and Teddy Williams (men’s track & field) will be honored on the field during the Homecoming game, while the induction ceremony is set for Friday, Oct. 18, at Pedrotti’s Ranch. UTSA (2-3, 0-1) will return to action this Saturday, Oct. 12, against Rice (1-4, 0-2). Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Rice Stadium in Houston, and the game will air on ESPN+ and Sports Radio AM 760 The Ticket.
