UTSA Volleyball adds Ayden Bartlett to staff

Bartlett heads to the 210 after spending time as an assistant at Louisiana Tech

SAN ANTONIO – On Monday, head UTSA volleyball coach Carol Price-Torok announced Ayden Bartlett as the program's newest assistant coach.

"Ayden is a young up-and-coming coach with a natural eye for talent," said Price-Torok. "Her ability to break down first contact will help elevate our team, and we are excited for someone of her caliber to be in the gym with us."

Bartlett makes her way to San Antonio following a season as an assistant coach at Louisiana Tech, where she specialized in recruiting and directed team operations.

Prior to her time in Ruston, she played for Louisville, propelling them to their most successful four-year run in program history. She served as team captain in 2023, and in her time, the Cardinals went 105-12, including three ACC Championships, two NCAA Final Fours and a runner-up finish in 2022.

Bartlett, who is a native of Leavenworth, Kansas, played in 293 sets and 103 matches at Louisville, working 385 digs and 43 service aces. She was a four-time All-ACC Academic Team selection, a Red and Black Scholar Athlete and cracked the dean's list throughout her collegiate tenure. Bartlett also served as a Student Board Serve Team member of Louisville's Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

In addition to coaching 1,000s of campers at Louisville's prestigious volleyball camps, Bartlett coached at KIVA Volleyball Club in Kentucky, focusing on passing, defense, and out-of-system setting.
