Roadrunners travel west to face NM State and UTEP

LAS CRUCES, N.M. — UTSA heads to the borderlands to take on NM State on Saturday, Jan. 18, at noon at the NM State Tennis Center and then UTEP on Sunday, Jan. 19, at noon at the El Paso Tennis Club.

The Roadrunners opened their spring 2025 season with a 2-0 record after defeating Prairie View A&M in a doubleheader on Wednesday, Jan. 15. UTSA held a combined record of 6-0 record in singles play and 4-0 record in doubles. Milica Milosavljevic won both of her singles matches. A tandem of Arina Babenko and Aoka Nagasawa finished their day with two wins in their doubles competition.

The Roadrunners have a 10-3 record over the Aggies after UTSA took the 5-2 win over NM State in 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. UTSA also holds a 7-5 record over the Miners after beating UTEP 4-1 on April 6, 2024, at the UTSA Tennis Center.

UTSA will host Texas State in their first home match of the 2025 spring season on January 25 at 2 p.m. at the UTSA Tennis Center.
